Do your research on a prospective breeder.   A good breeder does health testing, offers a puppy warranty, raises their dogs and puppies in a humane environment, will have contracts that require that puppies be returned to them and that puppies are not to be taken to shelters, will not be a middle man but does direct business with prospective families.  Ask for credentials such as whether they have a valid Kennel License, Business License, Training Credentials, etc.   Look for breeders with affilations with Labradoodle Organizations or with other reputable breeders.  Will be open and honest about their program.

These are a list of breeders that I feel are respectable breeders.  * are breeders I have personally worked with.
